The Collier-Lee Chapter (formerly Everglades Chapter) of The Association of Fundraising Professionals was formed in 1994. We serve AFP members as well as professionals working in fundraising in the local community by providing monthly continuing education and/ or networking programs.

Dec 4 - Gifts Officer
An affiliate of Feeding America, the Harry Chapin Food Bank is the leading hunger-relief organization in Southwest Florida. The food bank solicits, collects and stores food for distribution to families and others in need through a network of more than 150 nonprofit agencies in Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Glades and Hendry counties, providing food to about 28,000 people a week. In fiscal year 2016-17, The Harry Chapin Food Bank distributed 22.3 million pounds of food and other grocery items, including 6.6 million pounds of fresh produce. The food, valued at $37.3 million, is the equivalent of 18.6 million meals for people in need. Nov 16 - Prospect Research Analyst
Reporting to the Director of Advancement Services, the Prospect Research Analyst manages all aspects of donor and prospect research for Ave Maria University’s Office of Advancement. In this capacity, the prospect researcher extracts information from in-house and external sources to support Executive Leadership and Individual Gift Officers in performing their duties. This will be accomplished by providing comprehensive research on individual, foundation, and corporate major gift donors and prospects.
