The Collier-Lee Chapter (formerly Everglades Chapter) of The Association of Fundraising Professionals was formed in 1994. We serve AFP members as well as professionals working in fundraising in the local community by providing monthly continuing education and/ or networking programs.

May 7 - Special Event Assistant
The Special Events Assistant is a critical member of the Development team. The Special Events Assistant works with the VP of Development, Development team members and the Advisory Board to develop, implement and manage special events including fundraising and stewardship events for the Guadalupe Center from concept to completion. Key responsibilities include working with the Advisory Board and Event Chairperson(s) and volunteers to plan, organize, manage and analyze cost-efficient events; set revenue goals; coordinate and manage sponsors, contractors, vendors, employees and volunteers; and to develop new events.
